65A bar examinee's nightmare
For the past thirty eight years of my life, I have been wondering why I couldn't pass the Philippine bar exams. Only have i known that taking up law was the dream of my dad to see me becoming a full fledged lawyer. It never was my dream though I studied law for almost six and a half years not in a prestigious law school in the city of Cebu, but a law school unknown to many. Well, the Philippine Supreme Court recently released the 2007 bar exam results of which I took it for the third time around. In the past the Supreme Court allowed bar flunkers like me to take the bar and pass it after several attempts unlimited. However, there was a mandate to cut down the test taking of the bar exams from up to five attempts only. Well, I wouldn't go back to law school should i take it the fifth time around. Never again will I take the bar exam after a fifth failure. Alas! The dream of becoming a lawyer in the Philippines is at a minimal.

Well dear, its because many are called but few are chosen. Lawyering is not for everyone. Only those academically and morally fit can be lawyers. The world is full of opportunities! Go and look for yours.
